Welcome to my website. I have been creating traditional pysanky and original batik eggs since 1980. I work in my studio in Maine, designing new and original batik eggs along with the traditional pysanky favorites. I started painting with oils at age 8 with my mother every Saturday morning in a tiny studio on the New Jersey shore. I entered college as a math major, but within a year I switched my major to art. When I discovered the art of pysanky, I recognized a link between geometry and art, a wonderful new medium for me. Creating these works of art has brought me many hours of pure joy and personal enrichment.
